LITTLE RAIDERS FOOTBALL RUNNER-UPS

On Sunday, October 18, the Southern Youth Sports Little Raider Football team traveled to Doane College to take on the Fillmore Central Panthers.  The Little Raiders did not come away with a win, but the boys played hard and had an excellent season.  This is the Little Raiders first year in this League and they are the first expansion team to make it to the championship game.   The Little Raiders lost this game 32-8

The Little Raiders season started on Sept 6th when they played a game with Beatrice and won that game 26 – 0.  They started actual league play on Sept 13th with a 38 -0 win over Thayer County.  They went on to play Fairbury on Sept 20th and won 8-6, Tri County on Sept 27th and won 54 – 0, Fillmore Central on Oct 4th and lost 12 – 34 and finished with McCool Junction on Oct 11th and won 34 – 0.
